We are looking for community-minded hardworking people who are respectful and helpful to be part of our team.
Since we are an intentional community-based yoga retreat, we expect people to work together. The people that live here, are not volunteers – but karmic yogi’s.

Tasks

The tasks are generally the maintenance and running of the Yoga centre. The work depends on what skills you have or what you’d like to do or learn how to do. We’re happy to train you and provide references upon request (Which can be helpful in the future). Important is that the work is often unsupervised so you must be self-motivated.

Currently, we are looking for people with the following skills – and most importantly: experience.

– Cooking (We are a vegetarian yoga retreat, so it must be important that you know your way with veggies)
– Yoga & meditation teacher (We currently offer traditional hatha, vinyasa and yin – but are open to any style)
– Housekeeping & cleaning
– Office (emails, bookings, phone calls)
– Marketing/Branding. (Social Media: facebook posts, Instagram posts. Graphic design, photography, copy, strategies: ways to improve the retreat)
– Trades: Electrician, plumbing, building, gardening, painting, handyman
– Elderly care

We like for people to stay for a minimum of 3 weeks, to really become part of our community. We’re open for longer stays, if available. Often people stay much longer than initially planned, but this all depends on availability and suitability. Our preferred induction days are Monday & Friday.

Accommodation

The shared accommodation is comfortable and there is WIFI. Please note there is limited availability so the more notice you give us the more likely we can accommodate you.

Food and special dietary requirements

We supply healthy vegetarian food. We love cooking and eat very well. You will be expected to help with cooking, food preparation and cleaning up afterward. Besides this, everyone is expected to clean up after themselves. We can cater to different food needs too i.e vegan and gluten-free. If you have any preferences please notify.

We don’t eat meat, drink or smoke and ask all of our guests and karmic yogi’s not to do so on the property. We have had previous volunteers who had different expectations and it caused some tension as they were constantly craving what we didn’t offer.

We are a very diverse and open-minded community and love to learn from other cultures.

We look forward to hearing from you soon. Namaste!
